To advance health equity, the clinical research industry is facing the need to recruit more women and minorities into clinical trials. Moderated by Kent Guion, MD, UNC Wilmington’s chief diversity officer, join a discussion designed to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and offer solutions to recruitment challenges. Panelists include Mary Anderson, executive director of Prostate Cancer Coalition of NC, Nadine Barrett, PhD, director of health equity and inclusion at Duke Cancer Institute, Anissa Vines, PhD, assistant professor at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, and Patrick Maguire, MD, physician, co-owner and executive medical director at Coastal Carolina Radiation Oncology.
