Description
Biotechnology, Marine, and Environmental Science all covered in one workshop??? You’re going to need a bigger boat! As science educators, you know that an understanding of sustainability and human environmental impact is crucial to producing globally conscious students. In this workshop you will deepen your understanding of these issues and explore how biotechnology techniques are used to assess water quality, biodiversity, and renewable energy production. Join us and be immersed in a watery world this summer at BioNetwork’s 3 day, hands-on, intermediate workshop, Applied Biotechnology: Environmental and Marine Sciences.
This workshop is designed for faculty with previous biotechnology experience. Alumni of our Biotechnology in the Classroom program are encouraged to attend.
